This view depicts a vantage point of the Channel Islands in a way that has never been matched. Tide, atmosphere, wind, swell period and height all perfectly aligned to allow this scene. Over a period of weeks, different capture methods and techniques were attempted and combined to perfectly match the vision of the artist.

The sweeping motion of the glasslike surface adds a striking graphic element. Combined with the middle ground, and background elements, a tremendous sense of depth creates a space where the viewers may find themselves lost in the rhythm of the sea.
